Shares of Dow Inc. and Chevron are trading lower Wednesday morning, sending the Dow Jones Industrial Average into negative territory. Shares of Dow Inc. and Chevron have contributed to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline, as the Dow was most recently trading 187 points (0.6%) lower. Dow Inc.’s shares are off $1.32 (2.2%) while those of Chevron are off $1.38, or 1.3%, combining for a roughly 18-point drag on the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the decline include UnitedHealth Boeing and Cisco A $1 move in any of the index’s 30 components results in a 6.58-point swing.
